The purpose of the survey was to garner the likelihood an individual would use muscles as a form of authentication. This was critical in our initial prototype development because it showed the extent to which people were open to the idea of muscle memory as a form of authentication.

With regards to the survey itself, the link was shared across various social media platforms- specifically, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. In total, we received 104 responses.

The following charts provide a brief overview of the overall population that took the survey as well as feedback related to muscle authentication.

In terms of the drawbacks of the survey. Most of the participants were aged between 16 - 23, which differs from our intended audience (older generations of people). Moreover, younger people tend to be more technologically-verse and open-minded to such devices.

The survey also lacked detail. In order to have a large amount of people take the survey, there were no open-ended questions. There should have also been more questions pertaining to the user interface.
